To be fair though, I am still somewhat inconsistent, likely due to form. <br /><br />When I began the box jumps, I could not string more than two 24 inch jumps together without resetting or bouncing in place. In a few weeks I could easily string 15 together and worked on consecutive 36" jumps.<br /><br />The pistols were less conclusive. I could always do a bunch, but they were ugly as hell. I am pretty sure they are still ugly.RDCPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02475172238740684310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419206493223675493.post-20948426510542336572009-06-11T09:20:31.598-07:002009-06-11T09:20:31.598-07:00TexasPatrick,

One of my training partners started doing the CrossFit Warm-Up Method a few years ago, and his main focus was overhead squats. He would do 3 sets of 15. He started with an empty bar and worked his way up over the weeks. One day our WOD involved a max set of 95# overhead squats - he got 37.<br /><br />If you contact me I'd be more than happy to help you put a routine together.Tsypkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07103282631908551095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419206493223675493.post-28970579969052156972009-06-11T04:55:29.004-07:002009-06-11T04:55:29.004-07:00Interesting stuff. I need to beef up the wods I do at home with a little fun and games before and after.TexasPatrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17923439774636938685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419206493223675493.post-64374176429581516802009-06-10T20:07:32.879-07:002009-06-10T20:07:32.879-07:00RDCP,

Could you provide some specific examples of improvements you've seen through this method?Tsypkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07103282631908551095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419206493223675493.post-9302879767714725372009-06-10T19:57:16.094-07:002009-06-10T19:57:16.094-07:00I've been playing with the Crossfit Warm-up me...I've been playing with the Crossfit Warm-up method for HSPUs, One Leg Squats, L pull ups, and occasionally box jumps or another movement I feel that I need to work. Sometimes I feel like the progress is very slow, but then when I test them, I am often pleasantly surprised by the results.RDCPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02475172238740684310noreply@blogger.com
